My Long and Winding Road

Isn’t it ironic, don’t ya think? After studying languages for four years, this is the first time (with exception of the sporadic burst of inspiration) in ages that I am able to just sit down and write. After four years of analyzing, theoreticizing and regurgetating other peoples’ opinions on texts, I feel it is about time I see if can’t jump start my creativity out of its state of hibernation and reconnect with my pen. My last period of active blogging just so happened to be my Europetrip (sana0711.multiply.com) and the first few months after I moved to Berlin. There must be something about travelling and being on my own, stuck in one room with my thoughts and needing a vent that gets my juices flowing, if you know what I mean.

This blog was started on the day I left Manila, August 4, 2010, for my great Australian Adventure. After recapping some of the events leading up to this meaningful event, You are welcome to join me, while I work and travel my way through Oz. Discover the outback, read about the pains and perks of backpacking (alone) on an unknown (to me) continent and watch my world and mind expand as I (hopefully) go soul searching. Let’s go Walkabout.
